2.96.23 Willard House and Clock Museum

11 7/8” square engraved brass dial with painted tin arch for rocking ship. Roman hour numerals, Arabic minute numerals and seconds bit. Hands are pierced steel. Engraved scroll corner decorations with name "Aaron Willard/Roxbury" in script lettering in center of dial and painted rocking ship.

Separate engraved calendar ring.

Mahogany case with broken arch pediment and carved pineapple finials. Turned free standing and quarter columns on hood with wood capitals. Wide arch top waist door and a double step molded base with ogee bracket feet. Bead molding on the edge of waist, waist door and base panel.

Strike weight has small door for hiding valuables.
