Primitive miniature shelf clock by Aaron Willard.

Engraved cast brass dial with Roman numerals, Arabic minute numerals, closed minute track wiith circles inside and outside of the Roman numerals. Name "A. Willard" over center, "Roxbury" under center. Drop panel on the dial with engraved decoration. Beetle style steel hands.

Mahogany cased timepiece with two brass finials.

Pierced kidney shaped cut out on the hinged hood door. The hood stands on a deep cove moulding applied to the upper edge of the base. The base has an applied decorative apron just below this moulding.

Two cast brass feet attached to a double step moulding support the base. Basket of fruit stenciling applied to the base at some later date. Pine backboard, brass finials.

This clock is considered the smallest Willard clock ever found.
