A. Willard Watch and Clockmaker Boston. Engraved watch paper for Aaron Willard, Watch & Clock Maker, Boston. Boston, 1781 by Paul Revere (middle). The only known watch paper engraved by Paul Revere, done for Aaron Willard, the famous Boston clockmaker. The design depicts an angel blowing a trumpet, Father Time, a clock, and a watch. One of two states, no known priority. This state has a simple ampersand without flourish.

Seated woman with head on her proper left hand and next to large anchor laying on ground. Large urn-shaped clock on top of monument with watchmaker name and address. Ship in background on left. Ornamental border of small circles. Size: 5.4 cm in diameter.
