30 Hour Willard Clocks
Eighteenth Century
Thirty-Hour Willard Clocks

1770 - 1790
by Herschel B. Burt
John R. Stephens, Editor

This 46-page catalog documents twelve of the earliest examples of the 18th century clocks made by Simon (1753-1848) and Aaron (1757-1844) Willard in Grafton and Roxbury, Massachusetts. Today, fewer than three dozen of these early clocks are known to survive. Simon Willard charged ten dollars for this clock in the 1780's; today, they are among the most highly prized examples of the early work of Willard clockmakers. The soft cover book contains over 70 illustrations and graphs, mostly in color.

Price: $25, plus shipping and handling costs and tax when applicable.
